Here is How water gets Purified in an RO plant:
Step 1: Water flows into the RO system and passes through a prefiltration process. This process consists of a Pressure Sand Filter and Activated Carbon Filter and a sediment filter to remove chlorine and sediments. These particles are eliminated from the water to prevent damage to the RO membrane.
Step 2: Water passes through a micron cartridge filter for fine filtration and purification.
Step 3: In this step, water flows through a reverse osmosis membrane to remove dissolved particles that are only visible through an electron microscope.
Step 4: The purified water passes through the RO product line, and the impure contaminated water passes through the reject or recycle line.
Step 5: The purified water is stored in a tank. The RO plants continue the reverse osmosis process until the tank is full.
